My final walk in New York City was in the evening, which is safe to do.
I went to the free concert at The Lincoln Center. It was a lovely summer evening and people were dancing. I also walked along the Hudson River and, earlier in the day, visited the National Museum of the Native American after popping into the small but fascinating Skyscraper Museum, which had a history of skyscrapers, as you’d expect, but also an exhibition about housing density.
On my return back to The Bronx, I ran into a lively crowd leaving a Yankees game. The stadium was close to where I stayed for the final three days. I had considered going to a Yankees game but decided one baseball game was enough to get the flavour of American baseball.
My final USA post will show my whole itinerary across the country whilst I was there.
