Bangalore Creative Circus

Someone had told me about the Bangalore Creative Circus. It’s “an urban living lab for regenerative systems, communities, and cultures”. This seemed worth exploring.

I took an auto there. The ride was over 30 minutes. The place seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. I wasn’t even sure if it was open.

The urban space reminded me of some of the artistic places in East London. There weren’t many people inside. A small group was eating. It was lunch time but I wasn’t hungry. I explored the building.

There were no events on this afternoon. One person was singing/chanting, rehearsing for a later performance. I sat for a while and read my book.

Afterwards, I went to Cubbon Park. It was a Sunday and people were out relaxing. Badminton was popular.

After leaving the park, I walked around the area. I came across UB City, a plush shopping mall full of luxury goods. I went inside and ended up on the roof, joining many other people.

I left the mall and continued walking. Near the shopping mall, I came across a new Starbucks. It looked better than my usual Starbucks. So I went in for a coffee and ended up staying for a couple of hours.
